Two pristine game reserves flank the Victoria Falls - Mana Pools in northern Zimbabwe is renowned for its large populations of elephants, hippos and Nile crocodiles, whilst Hwange in western Zimbabwe is home to large elephant herds, lions and African wild dogs. With mild temperatures, virtually no rain and a low malaria risk, the dry May to October winter season is generally seen as the best time to visit Zimbabwe for a safari, although it is important to note that September and October are extremely hot and dry months.
The best time to travel to Victoria Falls, on the other hand, is at the end of the summer rainy season when the falls are in full flood with April and May offering the most dramatic views.
August to December is the low water season and is regarded as the best time to go white-water rafting in Victoria Falls - the volume and speed of the water is reduced and the rapids are more exposed.

Outstanding and professional performance by Pascal John
Pascal John quickly proved his professionalism as well as his in-depth and experienced knowledge of South Africa safaris. He demonstrated the ability to rapidly understand what I was looking for out of a safari trip and how to make that happen. He added real value to the process with his connections to lodging reservations at various lodges and arranged for an itinerary that is not possible to accomplish by oneself on the internet alone. For example, he was able to negotiate away for me a single supplement. He added immediate value and quickly/painlessly everything came together.
