Bateleur Bushveld Camp
A SANParks self-catering camp.
Bateleur Bush Camp, the oldest and smallest bushveld camp, is located roughly 40 km southwest of Shingwedzi on the Mashokwe Spruit and provides guests with an intimate experience of the northern Mopane/Woodland savannah, as well as outstanding game viewing. Named after the Bateleur eagle, often seen in the region. One of the most popular features is the game-viewing hide that overlooks the waterhole just outside the camp.

The luxury alternative
If you would rather not self-cater.
We do not take rest camp bookings. What our safari specialists do arrange is the private reserves of the Greater Kruger: private lodges where expert guiding, meals and game drives are included, and nothing is left to the camp kitchen. We look after international travellers and SADC residents alike, and many lodges offer reduced SADC rates.
