Boulders Bush Lodge
A SANParks self-catering camp.
The imposing rocky outcrops form the backdrop to Boulders Bush Lodge, a thatched retreat built on stilts in the midst of this attractive landscape. The lodge is offset by tranquil green rises of lush Mopani veld, with wooden boardwalks connecting the closely spaced, private bedrooms to a communal area. Guests can experience unparalleled views of the landscape from viewing decks that surround a private watering hole.
We do not take rest camp bookings. Camps are booked directly with SANParks, where current tariffs are published.

Accommodation
As access to bush lodges is restricted to guests of the camps, visitors to Boulders are able to enjoy complete privacy. This renders a unique, highly personal experience, without any outside influence or imposition. Bush lodges must be reserved en bloc. Boulders accommodates up to twelve guests
- Bedrooms are all equipped with en-suite bathrooms, with solar panels providing power for lights and fans only.
- The main sleeping unit has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom . There are four additional separate bungalows, each with own bathroom.
- The living/lounge area has a fully equipped kitchen(fitted with gas stove/oven), dining room, lounge, bar, braai and viewing deck.
Accommodation at Builders Bush Lodge allows for a private, self catering bushveld experience, which is managed from Mopani camp, therefore the reception office is located at Mopani Camp, approximately 25km from Boulders Bush Lodge.
Activities & Facilities
Guided game walks or safari game drives can be pre-arranged with Mopani Camp, subject to availability.
Important to note: children under the age of six years old are not permitted on the safari game vehicles and children under the age of twelve years old are restricted from guided bush walks.
Important to know: No electricity points for appliances in units (strictly solar powered lights and fans). No shops, restaurant, nor cell phone reception at Boulders Bush Lodge.

We do not take rest camp bookings. What our safari specialists do arrange is the private reserves of the Greater Kruger: private lodges where expert guiding, meals and game drives are included, and nothing is left to the camp kitchen. We look after international travellers and SADC residents alike, and many lodges offer reduced SADC rates.
