Roodewal Bush Lodge
A SANParks self-catering camp.
The unique quality of this camp is due to the extreme privacy of each individual sleeping unit. The units are spaced to offer privacy to each guest/family occupying each unit. Another special feature is the private viewing deck overlooking the Timbavati River. Natal Mahogany and Jackalberry trees create a stunning view that can be enjoyed from the braai area and by night the stars are so bright that the night sky provides some astonishing scenery.
We do not take rest camp bookings. Camps are booked directly with SANParks, where current tariffs are published.

Accommodation
This private lodge can accommodate up to 18 guests and is booked exclusively for you and your guests only.
It comprises of 4 stand-alone cottages. All the cottages have a bathroom (gas geyser), lounge and kitchen(gas stove), a closed veranda and a braai stand outside the unit. In addition, a communal kitchen and dining area is large enough for 18 guests.
The solar power system provides electricity for lights and fans(no air conditioning). There are no electrical plug points available in the cottages for any other appliances.
Activities & Facilities
Safari game drives and guided bush walks can be arranged with Satara or Olifants Camp reception, which is subject to availability.No cellphone reception. No shop, nor restaurant available at Roodewal Bush Lodge.

We do not take rest camp bookings. What our safari specialists do arrange is the private reserves of the Greater Kruger: private lodges where expert guiding, meals and game drives are included, and nothing is left to the camp kitchen. We look after international travellers and SADC residents alike, and many lodges offer reduced SADC rates.
