Day 1 - 2: The Retreat by Heaven, Kigali

Arrive in Kigali and transfer to The Retreat by Heaven for a two-night stay. Created by Josh and Alissa Ruxin, The Retreat combines chic, eco-conscious design with authentic Rwandan experiences, all deeply rooted in the local community.

Day 3 - 4: Wilderness Magashi Camp, Akagera National Park

Drive to Akagera National Park for a two-night stay at Magashi Camp, located within the exclusive 6,000-hectare Magashi Conservancy in the park’s northeastern corner. Like Rwanda itself, Akagera’s story is one of resilience and renewal, where a rich tapestry of wildlife thrives.

Day 5 - 7: Wilderness Bisate Lodge, Volcanoes National Park

Take a scenic helicopter transfer to Volcanoes National Park for a three-night stay at Bisate Lodge. Adjacent to the park, Bisate offers a transformative experience that combines intimate gorilla trekking adventures with a commitment to reforestation and community partnerships.

Day 8: Departure

Transfer back to Kigali International Airport for your departure. Though your journey comes to an end, you may choose to extend your adventure with a visit to another East African destination or head home with unforgettable memories of Rwanda.
